The Longwood University Mitigation Banking Foundation, LLC owns and operates a Wetland and Stream Mitigation Bank that is located on Hull Springs Farm in Westmoreland County, Virginia. Proceeds from the Bank will support environmental education and allow Hull Springs Farm to reach thousands of school children, college students, and landowners as we create a model of conservation and demonstration site for best management land and water use practices using the unique resources at Hull Springs Farm.
The Bank includes approximately 215 acres of preserved, enhanced and restored wetland and buffers as well as a restored stream. Approximately 56 wetland mitigation credits and 5380 linear feet of stream mitigation credits will be available.

Our service area includes all or portions of the counties of Northumberland, Richmond, Westmoreland, King George, Stafford, Prince William, Fairfax, as well as the cities of Alexandria, Arlington and Falls Church. See "Service Area" tab for a map.
Hull Springs Farm’s mission is to manage and develop Hull Springs Farm as a compelling model of conservation and stewardship to educate the students of Longwood University, other institutions, and the greater community about their role in creating a more sustainable planet.
Current Credits Available: We have 6.98 wetland credits currently available.
Future Credits Available: Approximately 49 additional wetland credits and 3100 more stream credits will be available over time.
